The CCWC is primarily a service organization. However, we also incorporate various activities to educate and broaden the horizons of our membership and to just enjoy the company of like minded women. Some current service opportunities include:
–Volunteering at local schools
–Supporting the Artemis House Women’s Shelter
–Hosting monthly luncheons for senior citizens
–We have two primary fundraisers each year. Most funds raised go towards our charitable giving via our Charitable Trust.
–On Clifton Day, an annual street festival in October in the town of Clifton, we sell baked goods and often a craft item.
–In May, we host our annual Clifton Homes Tour & Marketplace.
In addition to various other social activities, we also organize day trips to regional places of interest, arts & crafts projects, group attendance at performing arts events, a Great Decisions discussion group, and public affairs awareness.
