Welcome to the Clifton Community Woman's Club (CCWC)

The CCWC is a service organization for women who want to make a difference. Every year our members volunteer their hours, talents, and resources towards the furtherance of our civic and charitable goals. Along the way, we have fun, forge ties to our community, and form lifelong friendships. We welcome all women from Clifton and surrounding communities.

We meet on the first Thursday of each month (Sept – June). We have both a morning and night meeting to accommodate everyone’s schedules.

Please be our guest at one of our meetings to see what we are all about. Go to Meetings & Programs for contact information and to get details about upcoming meetings.

About CCWC

Activities & Opportunities for Service

The CCWC is primarily a charitable organization. We also incorporate various activities to educate the horizons of our members and enjoy the Club’s activities and programs. More . . .

History

The Club was founded in 1971. As chronicled by one of our founding members, it began as a group of neighbors getting together to address civic issues. From there, the idea of a woman’s club grew. More . . .

Mission

The purpose of our Club is to serve the community through activities and projects that enhance the cultural, educational, and physical well being of the community. We support the objectives and programs of the GFWC and GFWC of Virginia. We are included in the Northern District. GFWC is the oldest and largest women’s volunteer organization in the world. Our affiliation with GFWC allows our club’s influence to be felt at the local, regional, national, and even international levels.
